Ok, so, I just watered them regularly. But, this kit was great! I got my first harvest and am hoping I might get a second.
Slower growing mushroom but worth the wait.
Got a Elm Oyster kit for Christmas, went on vacation, then completely forgot about it. Then in late April we noticed an earthy forest smell in the apartment. We couldn't find out what it was until we found the mushroom box sitting there in a corner. Then I put the box outside on my balcony in the shade, followed the simple instructions and hoped that I hadn't waited too long to start them. In three weeks I had a bumper crop worth more than the cost of the kit. Now my second harvest is starting. What a great idea.
